Unauthenticated restriction bypass via spoofed client IP
Published Jun 4, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Authentication bypass in 10up Restricted Site Access 7.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass IP-based site restrictions. The client-IP lookup trusts forwarding headers without first tying them to an approved proxy, so a crafted header can match an allow-listed address. Exploitation requires an enabled IP allow list containing the spoofed address and a request header that the plugin trusts without an approved proxy.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
