OS command injection in Dell PowerProtect Data Domain 7.12.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands. The administrator CLI passes attacker-controlled input to the underlying operating system without sufficient command neutralization; Dell has not disclosed the affected command or parameter. High-privileged network access to the administrator CLI is required, and successful exploitation can take over the system.
