Database disclosure via loose parameter filtering
Published Nov 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
Blind SQL injection in MISP before 2.4.176 allows remote attackers to read database data through crafted array query parameters. IndexFilterComponent::__massageData uses PHP's loose in_array comparison when allowlisting parameter names, permitting type-coerced names to bypass filtering before query construction. Published assessments conflict on whether authentication is required; successful blind queries disclose database records available to the application.
