File deletion via tokenless update requests
Published Dec 25, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
CSRF in Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.2.2 allows remote attackers to make an authenticated administrator delete files. The file-delete submit endpoint processes a state-changing request without requiring POST semantics or a valid action token. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to follow an attacker-controlled request, causing deletion of a selected CMS file.
