Data exfiltration via unneutralized work-request descriptions

Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Eptura Archibus Mobile Client 4.0.3 allows remote attackers to exfiltrate data through a work request. The maintenance module renders attacker-controlled content from the work-request description field without neutralizing executable script. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted request, after which the script runs in the viewing user's application context and can perform actions or read accessible data.
