Code execution via out-of-bounds AEP parsing write
Published Dec 13, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe After Effects 23.6.0 and earlier and 24.0 through 24.0.3 allows attackers to execute code via an AEP file. The AEP file parser fails to validate user-supplied data before writing past the end of an allocated object. A victim must open the crafted file or visit a malicious page, after which code runs with the current process and user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
