Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Substance 3D Sampler 4.2.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a malicious file. Adobe identifies the flaw only as an out-of-bounds write and has not disclosed the affected parser, file format, or invalid bounds operation. Execution occurs with the current user's privileges and requires user interaction, bounding impact to the account and resources available to that user.
