Victim-context script execution via crafted URL
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
DOM-based XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted URL. The flaw lies in an undisclosed vulnerable page whose client-side code places URL-derived input into the DOM; Adobe has not identified the source, sink, or missing neutralization operation. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim who follows the crafted link; script runs only in the victim browser's AEM origin.
