Stored script execution through vulnerable form fields
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through form fields. Adobe states that low-privileged users can store malicious JavaScript in vulnerable form fields, but does not identify the fields or disclose the faulty validation or output handling. Exploitation requires low-privileged AEM access and a victim to browse the affected page, enabling script execution in the victim's browser context.
