Victim-browser script execution via stored form input
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated May 21, 2025
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in a victim's browser. A low-privileged user can save malicious script input in a vulnerable form field, which AEM later renders without adequate neutralization when a victim opens the containing page. Exploitation requires permission to modify the field and victim interaction; Adobe has not identified the specific field or code locus publicly.
