Stored script execution via vulnerable form fields
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script through form fields. A low-privileged account can save malicious JavaScript in an affected form field, and AEM later renders the stored content in a page viewed by another user. Exploitation requires a victim to browse that page, where the script runs in the victim's browser context and can read or alter accessible page data.
