CVE-2023-48546Network attack vector

Victim-browser script execution via stored form input

Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Oct 7, 2024

Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a victim's browser. Vulnerable form fields store attacker-supplied JavaScript and later render it as executable content when a victim opens the containing page. Low-privileged access is sufficient, but exploitation also requires the victim to browse to that page; Adobe has not disclosed the specific field or code path.
