Stored script execution via vulnerable form fields
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into form fields. Adobe discloses only that vulnerable form fields store attacker-supplied JavaScript; it does not identify the affected component or sanitization failure. Low-privileged access is required to plant the script, and a victim must browse to the page containing the field before code runs in that victim's browser.
