Browser-context script execution via crafted URL
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
DOM-based XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a crafted URL. Adobe has not disclosed the vulnerable page or the client-side operation that incorporates attacker-controlled URL data into executable browser content. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim who visits the crafted URL; the resulting script runs in the victim's browser context and can read or alter data available to that session.
