System command execution via crafted certificate upload
Published Dec 12, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2026
OS command injection in Siemens SINEC INS before V1.0 SP2 Update 2 allows remote authenticated users to run system commands. The RADIUS configuration accepts a crafted certificate without adequate checking, allowing certificate data to alter an operating-system command. Administrative access to the web interface is required; exploitation can execute commands with system-level privileges or interrupt the service.
