CVE-2023-48412

Local information disclosure via gralloc handle logic error

Published Dec 8, 2023 · Updated Dec 2, 2024

Information disclosure in the Google Android kernel allows local users to read unspecified data through the gchips graphics component. The private_handle_t code in mali_gralloc_buffer.h applies incorrect logic to graphics buffer-handle data, causing information to be exposed. No additional execution privileges or user interaction are required, but Google has not disclosed the exposed data or trigger.
