Unauthenticated arbitrary file read via FileName traversal
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated May 21, 2025
Path traversal in ITPison OMICARD EDM 6.0.1.5 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary system files through a FileName parameter. An affected page passes attacker-controlled FileName values to a file-handling function without restricting the resolved path to its intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to reading files accessible to the service.
