CVE-2023-48353

Local device crash via VSP driver use-after-free

Published Jan 18, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025

Use-after-free in the Unisoc VSP kernel driver on Android 11, 12, and 13 allows local users with System privileges to crash affected devices. The driver accesses memory after freeing it because of a logic error; Unisoc has not disclosed the affected function or object lifecycle. Exploitation requires System-level execution privileges, and the reported consequence is a local denial of service rather than code execution.
