CVE-2023-48308Network attack vector

Server-path disclosure via serialized internal exceptions

Published Dec 21, 2023 · Updated Nov 27, 2024

Information disclosure in Nextcloud Calendar 3.0.0 through 4.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to read stack traces and server paths. AppointmentConfigController passes caught service and client exceptions to JsonResponse::errorFromThrowable, which serializes internal exception details into HTTP error responses. An authenticated user must provoke an exception while editing an appointment configuration; the bounded impact is disclosure of internal paths and stack context.
