Arbitrary file write via unchecked archive paths

Path traversal in PyTorch TorchServe 0.1.0 through 0.8.2 allows remote attackers to write files outside the extraction directory. ZipUtils.unzip and decompressTarGzipFile join untrusted ZIP or tar entry names to the destination without checking the canonical result, so traversal segments escape that directory. The model or workflow management API must accept a crafted archive; resulting writes remain limited to locations permitted to the TorchServe process.
