Unauthenticated resume disclosure via predictable filenames
Published Dec 21, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Information exposure in HM Plugin JobWP 2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read uploaded applicant resumes without authentication. The resume-upload path stores applicant files under predictable names in a web-accessible directory; version 2.2 adds a unique identifier to each filename. A reachable WordPress job board containing submitted resumes is required, and the disclosed impact is limited to reading those files.
