CVE-2023-4827Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator-assisted code execution via unchecked AJAX nonce

Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

CSRF in Ninja Team File Manager Pro – Filester before 1.8 allows remote attackers to execute code through a forged administrator request. The fs_connector AJAX action accepts GET requests without properly validating its CSRF nonce, allowing file creation and content writes. Exploitation requires a highly privileged user to trigger the forged requests, after which an uploaded web shell permits remote command execution.
