Service interruption via crafted network request
Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Bosch Rexroth NEXO Cordless Nutrunner V1000-Release through V1500-SP2 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. Bosch identifies only a crafted network request as the trigger and does not disclose the protocol, request field, handler, or exact overwrite operation. No authentication or user interaction is required; Bosch also reports possible code execution, but publishes no conditions distinguishing that outcome from a crash.
