Authenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Path traversal in Bosch Rexroth NEXO NEXO-OS V1000-Release through V1500-SP2 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. The web application's file-download path accepts crafted HTTP path input without restricting resolution to an intended directory, exposing files readable by its root process. Low-privileged web access and network reachability are required; Bosch has not published the affected endpoint or parameter.
