Authenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Path traversal in Bosch Rexroth NEXO-OS V1000-Release through V1500-SP2 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. The web application accepts a crafted HTTP pathname without confining it to an intended directory; Bosch has not disclosed the endpoint or parameter. A valid application account and network access to the tool are required, and the consequence is disclosure of files readable by the root process.
