Authenticated SSRF via unchecked getHtml URL
Published Nov 15, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
SSRF in PublicCMS 4.0.202302.e allows remote authenticated users to read intranet HTTP responses through the getHtml API. MethodController passes the parameters list to GetHtmlMethod.execute, which sends a GET or POST to the supplied URL and returns the response without validating the destination. Exploitation requires backend access and application authorization credentials; reachable intranet content can be read, and response timing exposes open ports.
