Published Nov 15, 2023 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Grocy 4.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to steal cookies through the API-key QR-code viewer. Published sources do not identify the tainted field or the rendering operation that fails to neutralize it in manageApiKeys. Low-privilege access and a victim click on “see QR code” are required; successful script execution exposes cookies available to the browser.
