Credential disclosure via GET login query
Published Dec 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Sensitive-data exposure in Microweber 2.0.1 through 2.0.3 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to obtain login credentials. The /api/user_login endpoint accepts username and password values in the URL query when http_redirect is enabled rather than restricting credentials to a POST body. Exposure requires visibility into the affected login traffic and is limited to the credentials submitted through that redirect flow.
