Credential theft via unsanitized HTML form tags
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
HTML injection in Alinto SOGo before 5.9.1 allows remote attackers to present a credential-stealing form in an email message. The stringWithoutHTMLInjection sanitizer fails to neutralize form tags in HTML mail bodies, leaving attacker-controlled form actions active. Exploitation requires a recipient to view the crafted message and submit the injected form, which sends entered data to the attacker.
