Memory leaks in GPAC 2.3-DEV-rev617-g671976fcc-master allow local users to interrupt MP4Box via a crafted M3U8 playlist. The extract_attributes function allocates a pointer array and an attribute buffer that remain unreleased after the malformed playlist makes DASH setup fail. Exploitation requires MP4Box to process the file; repeated processing can degrade performance or exhaust memory and crash the process.
