Arbitrary SQL execution via unsanitized title input
Published Nov 16, 2023 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
SQL injection in add.php in Code Projects Simple CRUD Functionality 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL via title. The add.php POST handler places the title field into a database query without validation or sanitization, allowing embedded SQL syntax to be evaluated by MySQL. No authentication or user interaction is required; the demonstrated time-based blind request can query the crud database with the application's database-account privileges.
