Theme project deletion via forged admin request
Published Nov 13, 2023 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Dreamer CMS 4.1.3 allows remote attackers to delete a theme project through /admin/category/delete. The endpoint processes a state-changing deletion request under the victim's authenticated session without verifying that the victim intentionally submitted it. Exploitation requires interaction by a logged-in user authorized to delete theme projects, and the bounded consequence is deletion of the selected project.
