Information disclosure via hardcoded Fernet key
Published Nov 16, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Information disclosure in SuperAGI 0.0.13 allows remote attackers to decrypt protected information and communications. The is_encrypted function in superagi/helper/encyption_helper.py embeds a Fernet key in repository code and uses it to decrypt supplied values. No authentication or user interaction is required; possession of ciphertext and the published key exposes confidentiality without enabling modification or service interruption.
