Account enumeration via divergent login responses
Published Nov 17, 2023 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
User enumeration in kodbox 1.46.01 allows remote attackers to identify valid accounts through the unauthenticated login endpoint. The /?user/index/loginSubmit handler returns different messages for valid and invalid usernames and applies no login rate limit. No account is required; the disclosed account names support password guessing, while the published behavior does not establish direct data access or code execution.
