CVE-2023-48023Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Internal resource disclosure via unrestricted log proxy

Published Nov 28, 2023 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

SSRF in the Ray Dashboard API in Anyscale Ray 2.6.3 and 2.8.0 allows remote attackers to read internal HTTP resources. The /log_proxy endpoint accepts any HTTP or HTTPS URL in its url parameter without destination validation and returns the fetched response. Network access to Dashboard port 8265 is sufficient; a cloud deployment can expose instance metadata credentials, while Anyscale treats the cluster as a trusted boundary.
