Unauthenticated SQL command execution via unsanitized table parameter
Published Dec 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
SQL injection in CuppaCMS 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands through the table parameter. The unauthenticated edit_admin_table.php endpoint concatenates the unsanitized table value into a database query, permitting Boolean and time-based payloads. Network access to the exposed PHP endpoint is sufficient to read or alter database contents, including administrator account data.
