Script execution via unneutralized back-link title
Published Nov 17, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Reflected XSS on Liferay Portal 7.4.3.94 through 7.4.3.95 allows remote attackers to inject script through a crafted edit-page URL. The content edit page places the p_l_back_url_title request parameter into its response without neutralizing script or HTML markup. Successful exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URL, after which the injected code runs in that user's browser under the portal's origin.
