Clickjacking via contributor-injected iframe
Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Clickjacking in Automattic Jetpack before 12.7 allows remote authenticated users with Contributor access to manipulate user actions. Public disclosures identify iframe injection but do not name the affected function or explain which frame-control operation fails on untrusted post content. Contributor access is required to inject the frame, and a victim must interact with the disguised interface; the bounded impact is unintended clicks and resulting site changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
