Page modification via missing AJAX capability checks
Published Nov 17, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in AWeber for WordPress 7.3.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create or modify pages. Several AJAX handlers omit capability checks before creating or publishing WordPress pages and modifying linked landing pages. Subscriber-level access reaches these actions directly; a separate CSRF path requires an authorized user to submit a forged request.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
