Authenticated service interruption via crafted database query
Published Jan 22, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Denial of service in IBM Db2 10.5.0.x, 11.1.4.x, and 11.5.x allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the database server. IBM states that a specially crafted query triggers the failure but intentionally withholds the query structure and affected code path. Database CONNECT privilege is required; successful exploitation affects availability without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
