CVE-2023-47716Network attack vector

Authenticated privilege escalation through undisclosed authorization flaw

Published Mar 1, 2024 · Updated Sep 20, 2024

Incorrect authorization in FileNet Content Manager 5.5.8.0, 5.5.10.0, and 5.5.11.0 allows remote authenticated users to gain another user's access. The flaw is in Content Platform Engine authorization, but IBM has not disclosed which request or security decision incorrectly substitutes another user's privileges. A valid account is required, and exploitation can expose, alter, or interrupt resources permitted to the other user.
