Improper input validation in IBM Db2 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service with a crafted query. IBM has not disclosed the query form, affected parser or execution locus, or invalid input operation that triggers the denial of service. An account with CONNECT privileges and network access to Db2 is required; successful exploitation interrupts database availability on affected Linux and UNIX servers.
