DLL hijacking in 4D and 4D Server 19 R8 build 100218 for Windows allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The executables load x64 shfolder.dll from their installation path without restricting resolution to a trusted system location. A high-privileged local user must replace the DLL, and another user must launch the affected executable; the DLL then runs in that process's context.
