Subscriber-level email sending via missing capability check
Published Jan 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Missing authorization in Flothemes Flo Forms 1.0.41 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send test email to any address. The flo_send_test_email function accepts a destination address and sends the message without checking the caller’s WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the bounded impact is unauthorized outbound email rather than data disclosure or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
