Plugin-settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 18, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Preloader Matrix 2.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings via forged requests. The handleEndPoint() function accepts a settings-changing request without valid nonce verification, treating the administrator's session as authorization. Exploitation requires an administrator to visit an attacker-controlled link or page; published sources identify no consequence beyond plugin-settings modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
