HTTP response splitting via unsanitized filename
Published Nov 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
CRLF injection in ManageEngine Endpoint Central 9.1.0 allows remote attackers to split HTTP responses through a crafted file name. The InvSWMetering.csv handler inserts the fileName parameter into response headers without neutralizing CRLF sequences. Exploitation requires a victim to interact with the resulting response and permits attacker-controlled headers and response content, without reported service interruption.
