Privilege escalation via unescaped grid filter value
Published Nov 15, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
SQL injection in Pimcore before 11.1.1 allows remote authenticated users with backend access to execute arbitrary SQL. The Multiselect::getFilterConditionExt() method concatenates an unescaped grid-filter value into a LIKE clause returned to /admin/object/grid-proxy for execution. Basic backend Objects permission, a valid session, a CSRF token, and a class containing a Multiselect field allow data alteration or Administrator privilege escalation.
