Privilege escalation in DataHub before 0.12.1 allows remote authenticated users with invite links to create Administrator accounts. Policy resolution in the email-invite registration flow applies default policies keyed to the reserved datahub username after the built-in user is deleted. Exploitation requires those policies to remain, and the newly created account receives administrative privileges.
