Script execution via unescaped dashlet refresh URLs
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Combodo iTop 3.0.3 and 3.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a dashlet refresh URL. Three dashlet Twig templates insert refresh URLs into JavaScript strings with raw output instead of JavaScript-context escaping. The attacker needs authenticated access to modify a dashlet; refreshing it executes script in the browser context.
