Physical firmware disclosure via readable NAND storage

Information exposure in Telit Cinterion BGS5, EHS5/6/8, PDS5/6/8, ELS61/81, and PLS62 allows physically proximate attackers to read firmware. The modules store firmware and user-file-system images in NAND without cryptographic protection, allowing a hardware programmer and logical-image reconstruction to expose their contents. Physical possession and direct NAND access are required; the recovered image reveals firmware, system files, and user MIDlets but does not itself grant code execution.
